Peaches and Cream Collection

Life isn't all peaches & cream, but that's ok! As I was beginning to paint, these were the words that emerged.

The colours speak for themselves - delicious rich cream & soft coral/peach, reminding me of hazy summer days; sandals & cotton dresses, vanilla icecream & sprinkles! Beautiful happy childhood memories.

The real beauty of life, however, is found in the rich mix of good times & bad.

Life is like a box of chocolates-or an old house!  The mix of cracks & chipped paint, dark corners & rusted hinges, but also slivers of light, flashes of colour, beautiful pattern, & cosy nooks.

There is much to be learned when going through difficult times & coming out the other side. Learning from mistakes, developing strength & courage when life looks bleak, a deeper connection with others experiencing the same.

So, life isn't all peaches and cream, but that's ok.
